Method of action: Silwet drastically decreases the surface tension of the working solution and permeates the intercellular space of the leaves. This way it facilitates full leaf coverage (with wax or villi) and prevents the products from being washed away by rain. Its usage allows decreasing the working solution by 30-40%, which contributes to the economy of labor when using PPP and leaf fertilizers in agriculture.

Application: The average dose for Silwet usage is 5-10ml/daa and up to 40% decreased working solution volume. See below for specific examples.
Silwet is used in concentrations of 0.01% to 0.1%, depending on the usage of working solution/daa, on the pesticides/fertilizers it’s mixed with or the culture to which it would be applied.

• Concentrations of 0.025% to 0.075%  of working solution are recommended for mixes of fungicides, insect-acaricides and microfertilizers.
• Concentrations of 0.025% to 0.1% are recommended for mixes of herbicides and growth regulators.
• Concentrations of 0.05% to 0.15% for plane treatment with an expenditure of 5l/daa (and less).
